KSS’s K.S.R. College of Education, Belagavi today 03/05/2022 celebrated Shiv-Basav Jayanthi in the college at 10.00 am.. Respects were paid to founder Sri Gavisiddappa Belawadi by performing puja to his statue.The formal function began by welcoming the gathering by student Manjunath S. Puja was performed to the photos of Chatrapati Shivaji and Jagadjyoti Basaveshwar. Student Pavan Kumar spoke on the occasion. Dr S.A. Narasgouda in her speech highlighted the contributions of Chatrapati Shivaji in upholding Hinduism and gorilla war strategy and the social reforms of Jagadjyoti Basaveshwar. General Secretary Iranna Mavinkatti proposed the vote of thanks.All the members of the staff and students of 1st and 3rd semester were present on the occasion.
