KSS’s K.S.R. College of Education, Belagavi today 12/05/2022 celebrated World Red Cross Day in the college at 03.30 pm.Dr D H Misale, Associate Professor, B.K.Degree college was the Inaugurator and Sri Praveen Hiremath,Red Cross Volunteer was the Chief Guest. The function began by a prayer song by 1st semester students Vijeta Belaval and group. Red Cross Dy Secretary Jyoti Hiremath welcomed the gathering. Student of 3rd semester Al Nissah S introduced the distinguished Chief Guests. All the distinguished dignitaries on the dias inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp. Students Joinme Phawa of 1st semester and Veeresh Terani of 3rd semester spoke about Red Cross day. Sri Praveen Hiremath, Chief Guest in his speech highlighted the contributions of Sir Henry Durant and Red Cross to humanity.The Inaugurator Dr D H.Misale sir called students to volunteer to serve humanity under the Red Cross Wing.Dr S.A Narasgouda conveyed the presidential remarks. 1st semester student Nagamma Tigadi proposed the vote of thanks. 3rd semester student Geeta Pammar anchored the programme. All the members of the staff and students of 1st and 3rd semester were present on the occasion.
