World Red Cross Day 2023
World Red Cross Day 2023 with the theme “Everything we do comes from the heart” was celebrated in KSS’s Krantiveer Sangolli Rayanna College of Education, Belgaum on 08/05/2023 at 3.30pm. Dr Pramod Halemani,HOD, Dept of History, Women’s First Grade College, Belagavi was the Chief Guest of the function. Dr B.G.Dharwad, Principal,was the President of the function. The function commenced with a prayer song by student Afreenbanu. Student Pooja Chitale welcomed the guests and the audience.
Student Triveni Hiremath introduced the Chief Guest. The function was inaugurated by watering the sappling by the distinguished guests. Students Jyoti Hiremath, Arjun Gurav and Manasa spoke on the occasion. Students Council Chairman Dr N.A. Pujari presented the introductory remarks. The chief guest in his address highlighted the noble cause of Sir Henry Durant and the commendable selfless service of Red Cross to humanity.. Sir also motivated the students to believe in hard work and chase big dreams. The President Dr B.G Dharwad conveyed the presidential remarks. Red cross secretary Joinme Phawa proposed the vote of thanks. Student Rameeza Jamadar anchored the program. All the members of the staff and students of Ist semester and 3rd semester were present on the occasion.
