Kanakadas Shiksha Samiti’s Krantiveer Sangolli Rayanna College of Education , today 24/04/2023 celebrated Shiv-Basav Jayanthi at 3.00 pm in the college. The function commenced by paying respects to the Foundar Sri Gavisiddappa Belawadi by performing puja to his statue. The formal function commenced with a prayer song by student Sangeeta Sangmad. Student Rahul Patil welcomed the gathering. The dignitaries paid respects to Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Jagadjyoti Basaveshwar by performing Puja to their photos. Students Soumya Patil and Bibijan Makandarj spoke on the occasion. Students Anand B Patil,Afrin and Soumya sung Bachanaa on the occasion. Prof D.H Naik spoke in the occasion. Dr S.A Narasgouda, chief guest of the function highlighted the bravery and efficient administration of Chatrapati Shivaji and the noble role of Basaveshwar in reforming and establishing equally on the society. The President of the function Dr.B.G.Dharwad presented the presidential remarks. Student Pooja Mane conveyed the vote of thanks. Student Akshata Devareddi anchored the program. All the members of the staff and students of 1st and 3rd semester were present on the occasion.
