International Women’s Day Celebration & Inauguration of Subject Clubs
KSS Samiti’s K.S.R. College of Education’s on 08/03/2022 organised the celebration of International Women’s Day and The Inauguration of Subject Clubs at 3.30 pm in the college. Smt Mangala L.Korabu, KES,Lecturer, DIET,Mannur, Belagavi was the Chief Guest of the function. B.G.Dharwad was the President of the function. The celebration commenced by performing puja to the statue of Founder Gavisiddappa Belawadi by the Chief Guest, Principal,staff and students. The formal function began with a prayer song by 1st semester student Anand Birader Patil.3rd semester student Tangevva K welcomed the gathering and Bharti Patil introduced the Chief Guest. The subject clubs- Language Club, History Club and Science Club were inaugurated by lighting the lamp and releasing the club display boards by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries on the dias. 1st semester student Priyanka and 3rd semester student Beeresh T spoke on the topic of International Women’s Day. The Chief guest Smt Mangala Korabu spoke about the signicant role of women in every sphere of life. Madam also highlighted various government schemes for girls and also called upon students to get familiar with NEP 2020 .The Chief Guest was felicitated on the occasion.
Dr B G Dharwad, Principal and President of the function conveyed the presidential remarks. 3rd semester student Chaya A proposed the vote of thanks. 3rd semester student Sangeeta anchored the programme. All the members of the staff and students of 1st and 3rd semester were present on the occasion.
