KSS’s Krantiveer Sangolli Rayanna College of Education,Belagavi today 02/10/2022 celebrated Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti in the college at 10.15 am. The function began with a prayer song by student of 2nd semester Vijeta. Student Pavitra Koppal welcomed the gathering.Respects were paid to Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri by performing pooja to the photos. Students Kavya, Rashmi and Joinme spoke on the occasion. Dr N.A. Pujari spoke on the occasion and called upon students to emulate the values exhibited by the two great personalities. The Chief guest Dr S.A. Narasgouda highlighted the relevance of Gandhiji’s views to Education and also about the honesty and integrity of Lal Bahadur Shastri.The President of the function and Principal Dr B.G.Dharwad conveyed the presidential remarks. Student Sonali sang the bhajan Vaishnav Janato. Student Basavraj read verses from Bhagwad Geeta, Mashira read Quran and Akshata read from the Bible. Bhajan Raghupati Raghav was sung in chorous lead by students Rameeza and Anand. Student Triveni proposed the vote of thanks. Student Maduri was the master of ceremony. All the members of the staff and students of 2nd semester were present on the occasion.
