KS Samiti’s KSR College of Education today 2/10/2023 celebrated Mahatma Gandhi jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri jayanti in the college at 10.30: a.m. The Chief Guest was Dr G. R Kotenavar. Dr BG Dharwad principal was the president of the function. The celebration commenced by honoring the statue of the founder late Gavisiddappa Belawadi. The formal function began by a prayer song sung by students Shruti and Madhuri. Student Kavya welcomed the gathering. The dignitories on the dias performed Pooja to the photos and paid respects to Mahatma Gandhiji and Lal Bahadur Shastri. Students baby Bibijan,Shilpa ,Nikhil and Somaling spoke on the occasion. Bhagwat Geeta recitation by student Basavaraj, Quran recitation by student Masira and Bible recitation by Priyanka was done. Under the leadership of students Soumya and team Raghupati Raghava Rajaram bhajan was sung in chorous by the whole group.Dr B.G. Dharwad deliberated on the contribution of Mahatma Gandhi and the honest political model of Dr Lal Bahadur Shastri. Student and General secretary Anand Patil proposed the vote of thanks. Student Kavya anchored the program. All the staff and students of 2nd and 4th semester were present on the occasion.
