Deepdaan Samarambh
K.S.S.’s Krantiveer Sangolli Rayanna College of Education organized “Deepdaan Samarambh” for 4th Semester on 2nd September 2021in Shri Gavisiddappa Belawadi Memorial Hall in the college at 04.00 am. Prof. Shrikant Shanwad, Lecturer, Beynon Smith P.U. College, Belagavi was the honourable Chief Guest. Dr B.G.Dharwad, Principal presided over the function. The programme began with a prayer song by student Anita B. Student Prasanna M welcomed and introduced the chief guest.Various students shared their experiences in the college.The Chief Guest distributed prizes to the winners in various competitions organised by the Students Council for the year 2019 -2021. Speaking on the occasion the Chief Guest focused on the importance of the ceremony and advised the students to keep the light of knowledge burning and keep alive the prestige of the college. The chief guest was felicitated on the occasion. Students of 4th semester presented 2 fans as token of memory to the college. The Deepdaan ceremony was conducted by Dr S.A. Narasgouda where students took light from the Principal and staff and lit the letters KSRCEB and accepted the pledge.Students performed cultural activities. Dr B. G.Dharwad, Principal delivered the Presidential remarks. All the teaching and non teaching faculty were present on the occasion. Student Shruti Janaigol proposed the vote of thanks. Student Kirti Kolkar anchored the programme.
