WORLD AIDS DAY
KSS Samiti’s K.S.R. College of Education’s IQAC,ELC and NSS Unit and FPAI today 1/12/2021 jointly observed WORLD AIDS DAY in the college at 3.30 pm. The function commenced by performing puja to the statue of Founder Gavisiddappa Belawadi. The formal function began with a prayer song by student Shaista Mulla. Sri Krishna N. Gumaste, Specialist consultant,FPAI Belagavi branch welcomed the dignitaries. Mr Govindrao V. Kulkarni,Branch manager,FPAI Belagavi branch spoke about the objective of the day. The function was inaugurated by Dr (Mrs )Vinoda C. Bawdekar, President,,FPAI Belagavi branch and the dignitaries on the dias by watering the sappling.Dr (Mrs )Vinoda C. Bawdekar in her inaugural address spoke about the history,causes and the precautions regarding AIDS. The resource person Dr Avinash Kavi, Associate Prof,JNMC Belagavi spoke abut the theme , causes, precautions and measures to be taken to wipe out AIDS by the year 2030.Dr B.G.Dharwad, Principal and President of the function conveyed the presidential remarks. Dr.G.R.Kotennavar, NSS Unit Co-ordinator proposed the vote of thanks. Student Swati Nalawade anchored the programme. All the staff were present on the occasion. The programme concluded with Vanda Mataram.
