National Science Day Celebration
KSS’s Krantiveer Sangolli Rayanna College of Education Belgavi celebrated National Science Day 28th February 2023 in Sri Gavisiddappa Hall.Dr Anandmurthy V Kulkarni, Principal, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar College of Education, Nanadi, Examba and alumni of the college. The function commenced by paying respects to the founder Late Gavisiddappa Belawadi by performing puja to his statue. The low cost teaching aids Science Exhibition was inaugurated by the chief guest. Students presented various scientific concepts related to optics, force , pressure, gravity, electricity,etc through the self made low cost teaching aids. The formal function began with a science prayer song by students of 3rd semester Maduri and group. Student Akshata Sangli welcomed the guests and august gathering. Student Pratibha Badiger introduced the honourable chief guest. Respects were paid to Nobel Laureate Sir C. V. Raman by worshipping his photo, watering the sapling and lighting the lamp. Students of 1st and 3rd semester spoke on the occasion. Dr S. A. Narasgouda, Science Club chairperson and Prof Sagar Torangatti spoke on the occasion.The Chief Guest Dr A. V. Kulkarni highlighted the contributions of science and also appreciated the sincere efforts of the college.Dr B G Dharwad, Pricipal and President of the function gave the presidential remarks.Student Mashira, Secretary of science club conveyed the vote of thanks. Student Jyoti Hiremath anchored the program. All the members of the staff and students of both years were present on the occasion.
