International Women’s Day Celebration
International women’s day was celebrated in KSS’s Krantiveer Sangolli Rayanna College of Education Belagavi today 14/03/2023 at 3 pm in Shree Gavisiddapppa Belawadi hall of the college. Dr Indira P Sutar , Principal Shaikh College of Education Belagavi was the cheif guest.DR B G Dharward, Principal KSR College of Education was the President of the function. The function commenced with a prayer song sung by student of 1st semester Rahul Patil.The dignitaries on the dias were welcomed by 3rd semester student Basavaraj V . Akashta H of 3rd semester introduced the Chief guest of the function Dr. I P Sutar. The function was inaugurated by watering the sapling by the distinguished dignitaries.Dr S A Narasgouda, NAAC and IQAC Coordinator spoke on the occassion stressing the theme of Embrace Equity and called upon women to achieve independence in all areas of life including financial and emotional independence. Students Shivaleela, Arjun, Basavaraj and Bhairu spoke on the theme of International Women’s Day. Students of 3rd semister Shilpa and team presented a skit and activity depicting gender equality and importance of education for women. Chief guest Dr I P Sutar in her speech emphasized the importance of financial security and decision making for women empowerment. The Chief guest was felicitated as a representation of honouring the entire women folk.The President of the function Dr B G Dharwad conveyed the presidencial remarks and highlighted the importance of decision making for women. Ladies representative Rameeza proposed the vote of thanks. Students General secretary Anand B Patil anchored the program. All the members of the staff and students of 1st and 3rd semester were present on the occasion.
