KSS”s KSR College of Education, Belagavi organised “Awareness Program on Dengue and Blood Donation” today 25/07/2024 at 2.30pm under the Science Club and Youth Red Cross Unit of the college.Dr Nagaraj Patil,Lecturer and NSS Program Officer,J.N.Medical College, Belagavi acted as the chief guest and resource person for the program.Dr B. G Dharwad, Principal, was the president of the function. The program commenced with a prayer song by Student of 4th semester Daneshwari T. Priyanka I, Secretary of Science Club welcomed the dignitaries. Student Chidanand introduced the Chief Guest.The program was inaugurated by watering the sapling. Dr S.A. Narasgouda gave the introductory remarks. Dr Nagaraj Patil in his presentation explained in detail and created awareness about the causes, spread, prevention and treatment of Dengue disease. He also elaborated upon the need, eligibility criteria,procedure and benefits of Blood Donation. Dr. B.G.Dharwad conveyed the presidential remarks. Student Pooja Mane proposed the vote of thanks. Student Kavita B.anchored the program.All the members of the staff and students of both 2nd and 4th semester were present on the occasion.
