KSS’s Krantiveer Sangolli Rayanna College of Education, Nehru nagar Belagavi in collaboration with Family Planning Association of India, Belgaum Branch celebrated world population day Today (11/7/2024)at 3:00 pm in the college.
Dr. Gurudevi Huleppanavaramath, Retired English Professor of KLE Society ‘s Lingraj Degree College,Belgaum, Institute, was the resource person and enlightened the students by her words of wisdom and compelled them to be socially conscious.FPAI Belagavi Branch President Dr. V.C. Bavadekar was the Chief Guest and addressed the gathering on the adverse aspects of population growth. FPAI District Branch Member Mr. Mohan Gundlur was also present. Mr. J. V Kulkarni, FPAI Manager, and Ms. Preeti Hongal, Advisor, were present. As part of the World Population Day organized at the district level, as per the direction of Rani Chennamma University Belagavi, the students of our college participated in the district level Reels competition and won the second place and were given a cash prize and certificate in the function conducted at the District level. Principal of the college Dr. B.G. Dharwad presided over the program. IQAC and NAAC Coordinator Dr. S.A. Narasgouda, Student Council Chairman Dr. G.M. Sunagar were present.
All the staff and students of the college were present in the function. Second year students Kavya M sang a prayer song, Anjaneya N welcomed everyone ,Chidanand S introduced the guests and Pratiksha proposed the vote of thanks and Arjun G anchored the program.
